What’s your lens? What do you want to focus and zoom in on? What do you want to pull back from to examine from a broader perspective? What angle are you striving to capture? What is your current point of view? How will it change if you shift your focus?
As I continue my quest to embed technology into my teaching and learning tool bag ( or should I say camera bag), I am struck by the realization that the World Wide Web really is a capacious world floating in a nebulous infinity of a cyber cosmos. So, with all that data and possibility accessible with a few finger strokes and a click, it proves essential to find focus, determine the attributes of your subject that highlight the essence of what you are trying to capture, and maintain an objectivity that allows you to shift perspective.Ta Da! Below is a screenshot that I captured to
show you how to “screenshot”…. While,
traveling the world in the web, you may come across a view that you would like
to capture and keep in a photo format.
Well, here is just the tool to support you. Additionally, as Dr. Robin presented in this
week’s assignments, here is a screenshot
capturing my current view of Feedly. Feedly
provides an accessible, organized place for you to keep your most favorite blog
subjects to follow. Using this tool, you will not have to venture out into the
WWW to reconnect with your favorite blogs separately; instead, they are
corralled together for you in one place for easy access and sustainable use.
I will say that you are one of the most creative people I have ever been involved with. You make interesting points in every post and your blog looks like a professional blogger. By this I mean someone that is blogging constantly. I have the ability to screen shot on my computer, but I do not know how. I can always google it, you can google anything now days, and learn, maybe I should. I have an Idea about your next tech blog. It would be helpful to me and maybe others if you could teach us how to create an excellent and professional looking blog, because yours is amazing and draws the eye. I enjoy reading your blogs.
