Welcome to Rocks and Water: Truisms beyond the classroom

In my classroom, we used to practice training our brain to "tune out - to tune in" ... Now, as In-time communities of practice, we continue the practice of tuning out distractions to tune into what's present now - what matters - and what's next... What will you decide to tune into today?

🎉In-time communities of practice - in action... Exploring what the powerful practice of in-time transformational inquiry looks, sounds, and feels like in action. Why? Because - that is how we (each of us & all of us) develop substantiable solutions that drive collaboration, innovation, and 21st century leadership practices forward. Shine on!

  • Since the beginning of time, rocks and water have always functioned as two of the most powerful, transfomative elements on our planet.Rocks and water shape our landscapes, support what we stand on, and carry us to new places of being. The truisms of transformative teaching and learning practices that I hope to explore here are truisms because, like rocks, truisms will stand the test of time and hold true to form across domains. In counter play, as fluid as water, truisms can travel and can take many forms... Each possess the potential to carve out new paths where there once was resistance blocking flow and energy . Truisms capture the essential qualities represented in rocks and water in ways that I believe inspire transformative teaching and learning practices beyond the classroom.
